Both teams have been lighting up the scoreboard, so the total for the game has been set at a very high 47 points. However, the 4th & 16th ranked defenses in the league will be on the field, so the offenses are going to have their hands full, especially trying to protect the passer as Seattle is ranked #1 & Pittsburgh #3 in sacks.

Additionally, both teams like to run the ball - ranked #3 & #5 - so this should keep the clock moving eating up long drives. Finally, the Steelers grind-out style of play has always been based on dominating time of possession, so they will try to keep the Seahawk offense off the field. All this should help keep the number of points down.
